Due to the extension of the country, its geography, different latitudes and altitudes, Argentina presents/displays climatic characteristics quite different from a region from another one.
Like in the other countries of South America, that are under the line of Ecuador, in Argentina the winter is developed of July to October, whereas the summer extends of December to March. The winter is cold, rainy and with short days, it is recommended to visit the North zone and the northwest of the country, since rains diminish like the heat in this station. The summer is warm and humid, the days are long, being this the most recommendable time to visit the southern Patagonia and the Andes.
The sea acts like thermal regulator in most of the coastal cities of the country, which does that the difference between the minimum temperature and Maxima is not very great. This it is the case of Buenos Aires.
For many the ideal months to visit Argentina are those of spring and autumn, since the climate at this time stays relatively warm. |
